I am thinking about £40 price tag, but not sure because the best coin of the bunch is very poor condition, any thoughts

Fairly hard one to call, but I'd say the 1758 could be Fine the 1772 Fair..the 1816 Fair and 1844 Scrap Value only, I'd say £03 to £40 would be about OK as the 1758 in fine is maybe about £20 on its own, the rest would be Gap fillers but still nice enough Date Gap fillers

It depends on what denominations the coins are - can you provide the weights in grams for each coin, please ?

The 1st coin is a contemporary copy (ie counterfeit)
I certainly wouldn't pay £40 for that lot.

I always get a kick when British coin guys say "that 200-year-old coin is only worth melt"! It's probably true, but it just seems so weird to me when people will buy Canadian Victoria silver in any condition. One of my favourite coins os a 1745 shilling with an assayer mark - well, I'd certainly pay melt for that!
