Heres what I won from an ebay seller:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...97&rd=1&rd=1

and

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...75&rd=1&rd=1

I paid $28 for all 20 $1 star notes, was this a well earn bid or did I loose out?

And one thing that worries me is that the seller is a newbie with 0 feedback.

Let me know, thanks!

Well...you haven't invested much at this point...just $8-9 over face. Until you get a closer look at the bills, and see if there's anything of particular interest, it'll be hard to tell if it was a good buy or not. My guess is that, if you are willing to store the notes for several years. you'll make a little money on them. Congratulations.

So what Bobby is saying is that it costed him .67 cents to drive to the post office. Still took him another .67 to get back home. lol

This reminds me of an auction I was at several years ago. They were selling an unopened mint bag of 100 Susan B Anthony dollars. After all was said and done the auctioneer said, "You people aren't paying attention."

The guy bought them for $95.

So I received the 20 -$1 notes that I won from a seller at ebay. Most of them where from Good to Very fine condition dates from 1995, 1999 and 2 - 2001 star notes.
All in all theres nothing in the batch to scream about but its a good addition to add in my collection.

Well...really, you've got so little invested in them that you can afford to let the sit for a long time. What's common today becomes scarce tomorrow! (I'm not suggesting you're on your way to a life of luxury and wealth! LOL)

It sounds like it was worth it. You didn't pay too much for them
