It is a small date Panda. Whoever sold it was clueless.

Germans! Not a problem as I paid quite a bit less than a small date in this condition. One can always hope.....they are a bit shady though Teutoburger off SixBid....returned Chinese fakes from them before.

At first it looked a bit off, but it has no counterfeit markers. Looks nice

I didn't expect a fake on this sort of coin anyway but should slab well. The 1993's are always in demand as you probably know.

I disagree as you see common 2014 pandas slabbed.....the 1993 large or small date sell for a large premium and a 69 would do really well.

It is not a matter of it being an uncommon date, it is a matter of the added value of having it slabbed. Early Pandas are valued because of their low mintages. Only a 69 or a 70 will increase that value, a 68 or a 67 does not add significant value. The 2014's are slabbed right out of the mint packs, as good as that coin looks, it has spent 21 years out of a slab, it is very doubtful that it will grade MS 69 or 70.
