I know that some time in the past few years is when the mint started putting a satin finish on the mint set coins to distinguish them from regular circulation coins. What I am wondering is what year this began? I want to put together a set of Lincoln Memorials completely from mint sets because they tend to be much nicer then anything from BU rolls and circulation. Just curious what year the satin finish coins started and haven't been able to find it online anywhere.

2004 was the last year of the business strike for the mint sets, the 2005 set was the first of the satin finish.
