Hi everyone! I just registered for this forum and it is just what I was looking for so I can ask people what they think of my coins. I have a few coins here that I think might be error coins, so any knowledge about them would be very helpful. 1. The first coin is a 2001p quarter. I noticed cloudy lines coming up from some of the lettering, and mostly the caribou's antlers. I don't know if that's normal for some coins or if it's caused from something else. 2. Next is a 1944 Canadian dime and I noticed that something was off with the denticles around the border. On the right side of the coin, the denticles go around the border of the coin, but on the left side, it looks like there is two borders and the denticles continue on the innermost border. Not sure what's happening with that. 3. The third coin is an American dime dated 2000. I think it's an off-centre strike because the border is really thick near the bottom left of the coin and extremely thin near the top, but I'm not entirely sure. 4. The last coin is a 1964 nickel. It has some weird jagged lines on both sides of it and I'm not sure if it's post mint damage or not. Once again, any thoughts on any of the coins would be extremely helpful. Thanks

The 1964 nickel is just damaged. If the american dime is like that on both sides than its a very light off center but if its like that on the one side only than its a slight MAD(mis aligned die).

to CCF.. The quarter looks like PMD, but I think its a deficient plating issue. The 1964 nickel: obv looks like engraver used to mark your household items in case of theft, rev looks like a cookie cutter rolled over it what ever it was its PMD. The U.S. dime is what Dollarman said. Not sure what to think of the denticles on the other dime maybe some of the denticles where polished off. Just my opinion

I found a lot of those issues that you see on the quarter in my early collecting days, they are common if you look so now I just take a look and throw it back if its not extreme.

I think the quarter looks MAD as well.

The U.S.dime:If it is off center only on the obverse then it is a MAD. If it's off on both sides then it is an off center strike error. It is also a low mintage year. John1

The obverse side of the American dime is the only off centre side so it is MAD. Thanks for the help guys.
PS: If anyone knows anything else about the denticles on the silver dime, it would be very helpful.
