I was looking at some old Canadian pennies and I think I might have come across a die crack. Not completely sure but it sure looks like it.

Die-Crack?

If it were a die crack I would have expected it to show on the letters too.
Right now I think it's a die scratch of some sort.

I saw that thing on the N after I posted the topic and I went to go see what it was. It must have been some little piece of dirt or something because it wasn't there when I went to check. Darn! Also, I was just wondering, do die scratches add any value to the coin?

Generally no---unless a market is generated like the 1936 10 cent bar---which is a mere die crack but people pay a premium for it.
