If you want silver cheap, there are some ways to get it. Sometimes you can even get it below the silver prices. One way is to buy in bulk, but if you're like me and can't afford that, then there is other options.Try to find Peace dollars that are in very bad condition for very cheap ( very easily got for $12 in very bad condition) A Peace dollar has about 0.75 ounces of pure silver, and one ounce of silver at this time hovers around$21.34. That means about 1.5 ounces of pure silver for about $24. If you know any other ideas to get silver cheap, post them here. If you are trying to get silver cheap, just remember these little tricks.

Anybody selling Peace dollars for ~$12 is somebody I'd be very suspicious of. A lot of the " Peace dollars" available today were
made quite recently and at locations nowhere near any of the US Mints. http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...140316150127

One old saying is "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is." Today's PM market is drowning in plated crap and super cheap
prices are the biggest warning sign you could dream of seeing. Unless you have many years of experience, extensive experience
and a very discerning eye, cheap silver is these days a minefield you'd do best to not go running through.

Be cautious, stay safe and DYODD.

A good way might be if you and a group of friends all chipped in for bulk of silver from a registered bullion sellers, as mentioned above there are many fakes bullion's around. Make sure it's friends and not random people, and I'd highly urge you to buy from registered bullion sellers.

I read a story on here of one member buying a load of silver bullion of some guy off craigslist and it was all fake. He sells bullion's as-well, not like a massive company does but you know what I mean. And even he was tricked. Be careful out there.

Another option might be if you can do like another member had on here by getting friendly with a pawn brokers and he get's silver coins for spot value which is great. You can always find the occasional bargain on ebay, but if it's a constant bargain avoid it.

I like buying silver myself, I buy antique silver. But never will I scrap it, with age comes an added value and it looks great :D. Just be careful, and if unsure always ask questions. If they don't reply, don't bother with it. With time comes experience, and you will find something closer to what you are looking for. Just remember every great journey starts with a single step. :)

Almost every seller knows the current spot price of silver the time of selling, so you should expect that the seller is going to relate his selling price to the spot price.

Kind of like fantasy land...those kind of deals a very few and far between. I've been watching and hunting prices closely for over six years now, and have never seen deals like those which are spoken.

Maybe these coins are stolen and the seller just wants to "Fence" them
