Here is one I picked up today, a 1951 commemorative with what I assume is some kind of strike through!

flinflon john...Take a look at your coin run trough my 3D program...The YELLOW arrows show what looks like a possible wire...BUT..Look at the BLUE arrow..It still shows the leaf design...If the wire was there on impression I would think it would have destroyed the whole leaf design..My conclusion is that it is PMD..In my opinion.

I agree good chance of this on the 1980.
