I'm sure you can all 'opt out', and receive none. I have three email address. Each for different levels of importance. The mint goes to number two.....which I read when I get around to it.

I got another one this morning and I just had it. Un-subscribed and I'll send them an E-mail stating why. Sad that I now consider RCM mail as junk mail.

I hope the RCM reads this thread; they need to.
A change in marketing strategy it seems is overdue, and would help them in the long run.

There's a difference from being told about a new product and being inundated with last chance and our top 20 daily and please buy this coin my children are starving and need shoes.
I hope to see the mint change direction a bit. What ever happened to free offers for being on their mailing list? they used to give you something back for the bother. Like the holders they mailed out on request. If we all bought a coin each time the mint sent an email there'd be none left!

Dunno if it works but in theory you can opt out via your on-line profile or adjust your preferences to reduce the number you receive.

Frankly, I get very few that are not from my rep - just the cheesy 'penny for your thoughts' requests for reviews of coins that I have received.

On the other hand, I get dozens a week from my professional organization - the Mint has nothing on them. Little know fact: the second e-mail ever sent was spam.

i get tons of them but they just go into the promotions tab of my gmail. I don't mind quickly opening it to see if it's anything I should take note of.

Getting emails is better than not getting them because there may be a special deal you might miss.

I agree it's too much, and yeah, the mint is cheap even with MC, I've spent lot of money since 5 years and I never receive a gift, a promotion or a rebate for my fidelity...

I am so with you. I know exactly what you mean, so I just blocked them. Now that I have stopped buying the 20-4-20's and 100-4-100's I'm not really buying anything with them.
