VF 30 for sure! You don't find this many twenties in this kind of condition much anymore!

If IHC count, then my oldest would be 1905 instead of what I previously said.

I have 3 so far. A 1939 from a friend whose change I looked at (people sometimes think I'm a little weird for doing that), and he even said, "Just take it, we're in Canada so I won't need it anyway." I paid him back. A 1946 from a Canadian roll from my first time CRHing. A 1912 from another roll.
Photos will be uploaded fastest tomorrow since there is no more sun today.

I don't keep my roll finds separate from my cash register finds either, but I know for a fact that in the last year alone I've added more than 1300 wheats to my collection. The oldest has been a 1909, no VDB. no IHC either.

I have found 3390 LWC. The oldest is one 1909 and one 1909 V.D.B. I have also found 14 IHC and the oldest is 1882.

I've found about 1000 wheats per year. Been doing it for almost 4 years now. I have a $25 penny box filled and a jug or two that I need to start rolling soon. All my teen's, twenties, thirties are all in separate cointainers. Oldest wheat I found 3 times. 1909. I too got lucky like FistFullofDirt did. My son and I found over 960 wheats in 3 boxes of pennies. The average roll had 10 wheats in them. That was a fun experience! The best part was watching my 5 year old so excited to find so many wheats!!

I typically have found about 10 per box. The most I have found in one box was 24 and two of them were 1909's non vdb. That is all within 10 boxes total searched.

Oldest is a 1919.
I've just started CRHing cents, searched 6 boxes, and generally find about ~13 wheats a box. Mostly 40s/50s and very rarely anything earlier. To date, I have found 3 coins earlier than 1940 in those (6) $25 1-cent bank boxes.

@BostonCC Just so you know what to look forward to in about 4 years. I have close to (25) 1919 wheats alone, not to mention about 500 wheats pre-1940. Keep Click Clacking and you'll have that and more!

@John1 If my calculations are right, and I think they are, You've gone through $33,000 in pennies? Which means you've gone through 1,320 boxes? Cool. So your avg Wheat penny per box is around 11. Not bad
