Mr Click, any chance of getting a larger image? that's a great coin, and would love to be able to see it in all its glory.

Cheers

Key Date? Well that is good to know, eh

It's a key date to me personally because my Grandfather was born in 1920. Not the coin collector, the B-17 Pilot.

I don't think 1920 is a key date, 15.5M were minted. The figures are lower for the few next years though.
I also have a 1920 penny, my first George V from a roll, and the oldest year for the Canadian small cent

1920 was first small cent, isn't first of a run always a key date?

Not always. Take for example toonies, a member here did the calculations and there were more toonies produced in 1996 compared to 1997 to 2011 combined. Here are the George V small cent mintages:
1920 - 15 483 923
1921 - 7 601 627
1922 - 1 243 635
1923 - 1 019 022
1924 - 1 593 195
1925 - 1 000 622
1926 - 2 143 372
1927 - 3 553 928
1928 - 9 144 860
1929 - 12 159 840
1930 - 2 538 613
1931 - 3 842 776
1932 - 21 316 190
1933 - 12 079 310
1934 - 7 042 358
1935 - 7 526 400
1936 - 8 769 769
First year mintage was also second highest mintage year for King George V.

You're welcome I just copied the figures from coinsandcanada.
I found a 1932 yesterday, but it was in very sad condition and I needed a couple of seconds to recognise it.
