I know that this topic has come up a lot and I am very envious of the members who have found a way to order them.

This is what I have found out.

1. Banks use their own systems, so the best way to try and order them is to contact the Federal Reserve.

2. they come in $1,000 bags

3. There is a slot to order/deposit Ikes on the Fed's ordering sheet http://www.frbservices.org/operatio...ositing.html

4. Credit Unions and small banks are more likely to be able to order them.

5. The Feds SHOULD have them. (Considering no one wants them but us )

There is someone who goes to my church who works at the federal reserve branch in Charlotte, so I am hoping he can point me in the right direction. If anyone else has any info about ordering them, I would love to hear it.

That was the thread that I got most of the info I have from. There is someone at my church that works for the fed, so I will ask and see if he can point me in the right direction.

I have gotten 75$ in ikes from my local Navy Federal. They come in $25 rolls.

Although, I ask everytime I go in, and recently, my teller has been saying " everyone" is asking for them. Yikes, I hope I can get some more! Been skunked for the past ~ month
