For those who haven't seen the new cases that the mint designed, they do a great job of keeping the coins from rotating, but make the coins look like this:

New-Limited-Edition-Cases--Let-The-Mint-Know!

Here's a URL to contact them:

If we don't let them know, this may end up to be the case design used on every proof set.

I have not heard anything back from the mint yet except the automated response.

Found another flaw. The inner liner is about 1/32 smaller than the opening, so it can slide around during shipping. This causes the coins to scuff up the inside of the top lens. I think the mint should ship new empty lenses to anyone that asks.

I did find one advantage to the new design, the easy open case. Found a brown spot on one quarter. Put on my cotton gloves and made one set with the best coins and put the others in the set with the spotted quarter.

These cases are not very flattering to the coins they are to showcase.
