I found this in some random old coins my father gave me about 10 years ago. I just got around to looking at them. I was looking for a match on ebay and Google image search, but did not find an exact one. This has R * M * F * F * with none of the letters upside down. I only found pics of later ones with this. Can anyone tell me about this coin?

From what I can tell from the pics it looks like a genuine mexico 1/2 real.
