Coin from China. These are called "Cash". I'm not your guy to fully identify it as far as date, dynasty and emperor.

Yours has a bit of a fake look. Unlike "Western" coins, which were struck by machine, these were cast, so they usually look kind of mushy and crude. But the fine characters on yours look exceptionally well-defined... which is maybe a bit suspicious. The Chinese like to fake these because they are used as good-luck ornaments... but I'm not an expert either. If it's real, it was minted under Emperor Jen Tsung, reigning from 1796 to 1820 and it was made in the Board of Works mint.
