bmanofnbc, an "E" clashed coin is where the letter "E" from one side of the coins dies transferred to the other die during a die clash episode.
E clashed die pairs are very rare as far as letter transferred die clashes. There are 22 sub types in the Morgan dollar group and far less die pairs when you take out the die progression VAM's. This type of clash becomes far more clear when you look at the 1,000's of die pairs used and die marriages in just the Morgan dollars.

To give you an example of how un-common this letter transfer is, there is 11 die pairs of Morgan clashed "E" coins currently known. There are over 300 "N" clashed pairs currently listed and over 200 S or T clashed known Just in the Morgan dollars.
