I have 42 of these bronze medals, all the 1 5/16" size. Some are inauguration medals and some have peace and friendship.

Thoughts from the CCF on these?

Could be one of those gas station pro-mos where you can one medal with a gas purchase and a folder to fill.I think it was Shell stations.

Your image is that of a US Mint "Presidential Series" medal; it was also available in a 3-inch size.

Though it mentions Kennedy's inauguration, the medal is not the official inaugural medal. It is just one of a long-running US Mint series that honors each elected president.

The small size medal you've illustrated often sells for a few dollars. I see them at local coin shows frequently with price tags of $2 to $4.
