I always enjoy finding these even though some, like this one, are not all that valuable. I believe this is a 1972-P 1DO-003. Please let me know if you think I'm right, thanks.

Yep, looks like a 3 to me.

The date looks a little thin, but honestly? The "t's" in TRUST are right on for the thickness of a 1972 DDO, along with a stong underbar of the "L" in LIBERTY.
Cool find.    = )

I was super excited to pull 42 of these out of the two mint sealed bags I did. I was also super psyched when out of 19 sent in, 4 came back as ms66 and 9 came back as ms65 ! = )

This post brings back great memories of those bag searches.

It makes me want to go out and buy another 1972 Mint Sealed 5000 count cent bag and see what lays within !
