Those are fantastic! I haven't seen the boeuf gras in a while. I need to pull out the albums to see if I have some of the boeuf. They did not throw many this year. A friend of mine on the board of Muses told me that her crew has stopped throwing doubloons due to the cost and I did not get any during Endymion.

Nice . I didn't get a chance to dig through the albums last week-end. I remember when I was very young, my cousins and I would make piles of doubloons and think we were rich.

That was great! Thanks for sharing. I don't know why I never saved any because I keep a paper coin colliection in MPC and PX paper from the desert and my earlier military days.

Once again thanks!

I like the 1967 doubloon. If I manage to get pictures this week-end, do you mind if I post them here?

They do commemorate some strange things on the doubloons, do not know if he was famous in NOLA.

I think that I have a total of 130 or so as there were 65 in the bulk buy so I still will be posting for a while.

This is a blue anodized one, some of the colored ones have a reeded edge, and are thicker than the plain aluminum ones. I have no idea why the difference other than the colored ones ones may be presentation ones.
