A farthing is 1/4 of a penny which is 1/12 of a shilling which is 1/20 of a pound. In 1967 they got rid of this terrible system and made 100 pennies to one pound. Your coin looks like it's in pretty good condition, but British copper coins are some of the most common in the world so I'd have to wait for the judgment of someone who knows the British grading standards.
