Hmm.. definitely lower than VG as said in the listing. aG-3 Obverse, PO-1 Reverse. Id say FR-02.

I'm tracking that one ... trying to make up my mind if the coin will net at PO01 in a PCGS holder.

The reverse is comparable to my current PCGS FR02 example and there is a tad more wear on the obverse legends on the ebay coin ...

For comparison ... and not to steal your thread ... here is my PCGS FR02 1893 Columbian:

Lowball-1893-Columbian

Anybody believe the ebay coin is lower?

Tough call nickelsearcher!

I would say the obverse on the ebay coin is a slightly lower grade than yours, with the reverse a toss up between the two. If I had to make a pick on the reverse, I would say yours is just a bit lower in grade.

Good luck!

On the positive side there are more than a few people collecting very low grade coins.
And they get more the expected value.
But since it's a commemorative I'm not so sure.

I'm thinking Fr-02 for that coin.

David, I think the ebay coin will grade lower than yours.

$31.54 Canadian - I was hoping it would go a little lower than that.

Hopeful the new owner (not me) enjoys the coin and acquires the lowball grade they are hoping for.

I took a pass on the coin ... judged that it would be a duplicate FR02 example for me.
