This is a large bronze coin, with a very prominent overdate!
It also has DDO in the legends.

Looks legit to me. Krause lists 3 varieties for the 1857: small L.A., big L.A. and Curved top 5. It would be interesting to understand which dies of the three varieties were used to create the overdate... Anyone that can help on this?

Honestly, I only look for the overdates on Sweden coins, so I'm unsure of the small/big LA--which is on the obverse. The 'curved top 5' is definitely a different reverse die than this coin--picture below:
