Bought this at auction in the Netherlands a few weeks back and was wondering if any experts here think it might be a proof. The fields to the reverse are mirror like and the design is sharp, the leaves are exceptionally sharp, the obverse perhaps not quite as sharp in detail but the lettering is flat and sharp unlike others in my collection

Only proofs issued for this year was for a Calcutta mint issue. There is a P/L restrike worth several $1000's from the Bombay mint. It certainly does have Proof-Like fields. I'm not your guy for this. I suggest asking around some of the Indian-Based forums for help.
