Those of you who sell NCLT on ebay, do you use the print and pay shipping labels from paypal? I have a couple of questions?

Is it cheaper to use than the postal service?
If not, how much do you save on average?
And are you charge in Canad*** Edited by Staff | The bad word filter is in place for a reason. Bypassing the filter and making the intended word obvious anyway is completely unacceptable. ***, or USA $$.?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I couldn't find a better one..

Depends on service you are paying for it either the same amount or cheaper, not much though.
On the other hand, at the counter you can refuse some services which will reduce the total amount.
If you are planing to spend some $USD, then make charges in $USD. Otherwise you would loose on conversion to $CAD.

Just sent out a parcel to Manitoba from Ontario ,used paypal for expedited parcel with signature required $11 and change at the post office would have been around $13, save just over a buck

You will save around 5% to 10% off depending on the service.
Rest in Peace

I use the Canada Post 'Ship-n-click'. It allows you to 'fudge the number to a point where you feel it is an acceptable cost. Most recently I sent two 20/4/20's to UK for under $11 (cdn). If I took it to the counter the cost would have been closer to $15.00. (shipped 'small package')

All 20/4/20 I shipped were lettermail with costs way under $11 or $15. Even to far-far-away places in the middle of the Russia :)

Technically you are not allowed to send abroad as lettermail anything but printed materials.

The problem is that if you send something not lettermail (package)you HAVE to declare what`s inside. When you send a lettermail as they supose is a letter, you don't declare.

Like 2 months ago it happened to me something hilarious. I was sending abroad a small item that I planned to send as a lettermail. So, I went to a Canada Post office, the lady weight and touched it and says it's $13. I said, no, I want to send it as a lettermail. She said: "No, you can't. It obvious that isn't a letter so you should declare it. If the foreign country postal service realise it's an item, they will destroy it as it hasn't been declared".

I told her, ok, thanks.

I went to another post office .... the guy said "it's $2.20" and I paid at once.
End of history: the lettermail with my item arrived :-)

If there is any problem with the package (IE the tracking # doesn't get printed correctly) then Canada Post will blame Paypal and Paypal will blame Canada Post and you'll be out of pocket for the value of the item.
