Hi Folks
Have a question concerning a 1872 50 cent coin. Came across the coin a couple years ago. Was going through some coins and noticed something around the cents wording. Around the e, n and s I noticed what appears to be slight doubleing. Would this be from a worn die or something else. Any info would be appreciated as I am not familiar with Canadian coinage. Thanks. to try and help, this particular year has a lot of reverse die double punching, from slight to very heavy and prominent. Nice coin you are showing!

Thanks for the reply it is appreciated. I noticed that the 5 in the number 50 and the d in Canada has the same type of doubling.
