This is starting to look like my library card catalog (database actually)! There are a few I'm not aware of on it, and a few missing I'll try to fill in some holes.

I think I've got a good start on coin related books. I have 3 or 4 titles I found but haven't added to this list yet.
I am currently working on a listing for US Currency but haven't gotten very far on it.

A NOTE TO EVERYONE: Feel free to post book titles I might have missed.

The Three Cent Nickel - Frank Gifford (out of print and very rare) First United States Mint - Frank Stewart (Out of print and fairly hard to find) many of these copies were destroyed in a fire. Adams Don't leave out the clubs and their fantastic newsletters: (A few off the top of my head). Numismatic Bibliomania Society - Asylum Newsletter and E-Sylum (weekly e-mails) is a great source for books and numismatic book maniacs like a few of us here! Penny Wise newsletters - Early American Copper club Gobrecht Journal - 5 hardbound volumes and individual newsletters John Reich Society also puts out a nice newsletter C4 - Colonial Coin Collectors newsletter Fly-In Club - Longacre's Ledger newsletter CherryPicker's Newsletter (JT Stanton) also published the Pink Sheet price guide for varieties The above were just off the top of my head, using no notes, your list is pretty good so far! Did I see Q. David Bowers books: Adventures with Rare Coins (my all time favorite coin book). More Adventures with Rare Coins. Coins of the United States as Illustrated by the Garrett Collection. Meadowview do you have Harry X Boosel's 1873-1873? I'm looking for even a photo copy of that book, haven't been able to find one yet. (Haven't tried the ANA though).

I don't have Boosel's 1873-1873 book but I remembered it for the listing from your want list. I did check the ANA site for the book and it states there are two available for circulation. I didn't have the books you listed in the first grouping with the exception of the Davis book on Numismatic Literature (it's on the second page). I didn't have Adventures with Rare Coins or More Adventures with Rare Coins listed either. I had the Garrett Collection book under Mints, History and More now that I think about it, I should place it under Famous Collectors, Collections. Also, are the headings okay? Some books I have trouble deciding which heading is the best fit. I wasn't even thinking about club periodicals but am glad you mentioned them. I also know there are several books on CDs, DVDs and on the internet such as Fortin's Seated Liberty Dimes- Die Varieties, 1837-1891. gee this post seems all over the place looking at the preview before I click post new reply. -MV

I think maybe we should all collaborate on this list, then get the Mods to put up the list as a formatted finished project under the left links. I would be happy to format everything as we finalize, so far it seems only to include US coins (my specialty) but we could enlarge it to include currency, and world coins, and maybe even Ancient coins (I'd imagine there are a lot of books in that subject). What say you all? I'm up for the challenge - are you?

Yes, I'm up for the challenge.
I've got a list started on US Currency. It's a work in progress.
Also, I came across several other titles for the Coinage of the Americas Conference.

From Westcoin, Quote: I think maybe we should all collaborate on this list, then get the Mods to put up the list as a formatted finished project under the left links. Great idea. I think Bobby will have to do it. Not those Mod guys. They just sit around reading and passing notes. Wait! I forgot Rui, he will also play a big role.
