Should have also added in the many different Lincoln Cents. I wouldn't have voted for any, but they should have been given a chance. For example I've heard rumors that some like that Shield thing.

I chose Lincoln, the sentimental favourite from my childhood, since it is difficult form me to say which design I like the most.

The obverse of the Flying Eagle cent copied the Gobrecht dollar
which did not reach production. A few pieces were struck.
Who can afford the real dollar? Not me. The cent must suffice.

I love the Flying Eagle cent, and dream someday of having a Gobrecht dollar, with the very similar design on the reverse.

But if you were to ask my favorite large copper, it would be draped bust for the cent, but classic head for the Half Cent.

Just because I am curious, does anyone like the new shield design?

Love would be too strong, but I do like the new shield design, at least, I do not hate it. Given the choices, there were far worse ones to have been made.

Personally, like the sentiment of the design. The flat, unimaginative look of the design in production....meh!

Yeah, the ultra low relief of current modern coins makes any design look blah. Just compare a 2008 cent to a 1960's cent.

I say the Wheat cent because that's one coin that sticks out to new collectors going through pocket change. It was first pointed out to me by my dad when I was young. I'm glad he knew something about coins.

I voted Indian but, I'm changing my mind..

The Wheat cent first, the Shield cent next..then the Indian then the Flying Eagle..

I guess I'm a bit out of the mainstream. My favorite is the Classic Head Large Cent in high grade. They really start to look ugly with circulation but look nice in BU although I doubt I can afford them in that grade.

My second pick would be the Flying Eagle cent.

The 1854 Large Flying Eagle Patterns are something to behold.
