I have an opportunity to pick up some 1947 silver Canada half dollar coins,. there is straight and curved 7, but no maple leaf coins..
They are in average circulated condition, no real gems.

What do you all think is a fair price to pay for these, he is asking 14$ and I am offering 10$..

I am hoping to flip some of these and keep a few for myself.

Thanks to all who chime in here..

Average Circulated isn't a real grade. It varies depending on who you ask. Assuming they are VF or better, $14 is fine but I guess it would be fair to meet him in the middle at $12.

Remember to look for varieties as there are six straight 7 varieties (7/7's and wide/narrow date etc), and 5 varieties of the curved 7. These are illustrated in Charlton's 68th Variety section.
