1965 Canadian Cent Variety Help - Coin Community Forum

Susuman Pillar of the Community United States 595 Posts	Posted 04/16/2014 11:28 pm Last night I decided to look through my piggy-bank of Canadian cents that I collected from circulation in the Detroit area when I was a kid. While doing this, I was specifically looking for the pointed and blunt 5 varieties (not really worrying about the dot size yet). I am sure that I found both varieties of 5s, but some coins look in-between. So, below are three coins. Coin A I believe is pointed 5 and small dots. Coin B is blunt 5 and small dots. Coin C is my question. It looks like a somewhat pointy 5, but less than coin A. My question is if coin C is a pointy or blunt 5. Coin A - Pointy 5, Small Dots Coin B - Blunt 5 Coin C - Pointy or Blunt 5 ? Report this Post to the Staff

There does seem to be a bid of variety among the blunt versions though. Anyway, I am pretty sure that coin A is pointy, and I am happy to have found one of them among the ~25 1965 Canadian cents I have:) Report this Post to the Staff
