I bought today a nickel dollar 1968. The word DOLLAR, the date and regina are double. In the charlton book, we can find 3 varieties: DHL1 DHL2 and DD. Can we find the DD (double die) on both DHL1 and 2?. What is the relation with the DD and the other DHL1 and2?

Thanks!

You can find a doubled date for both the 1968 DHL1 and DHL2 horizon/waterline configurations. The doubled date is not that common.

Which Charlton book are you using?

Bill Cross and I removed DHL #2, because the upper horizon line is doubled on ALL 1968 nickel dollars, except on the No Island varieties....

Sorry, it's my mistake. I use the Charlton 2014 (p.208) but the DHL 2 was on the trends in CCN. I'll try to do better picture tonight. I hope!
