I have found this coin in an old tin that I've owned since the 1960s.

I believe the coin may be one of: Persia, Irag, Algeria, Syria, Egypt or other Middle-Eastern? It could even be Indian/Asian, I have no idea.
It could even be Indian/Asian/Oriental, I have no idea because I cannot read the writing, although it looks Arabic to me.

I'm sure some enthusiast will recognize it and let me know. Thanks.

Good to know. I vaguely remember being given this as a child but cannot recall who gave it.

I though it might have been some type of token rather than a real coin. At least now I know and can keep it rather than just throw it away.
