These are a little smaller than a Twoonie and from what I understand they are available in the mint gift shop. You deposit a twoonie into a machine and a coin press mints one of these tokens on the spot.

The Royal Canadian Mint. They've always got really neat numismatic items; it makes me jealous that our US mint doesn't do more.

Royal Canadian Mint has two facilities, one in Winnipeg and one in Ottawa. I haven't been to either one, and I doubt I'll make the trip to either anytime soon. Which mint did this come from Chrycopaul? Thanks.

This one came from the Ottawa mint, but I imagine they are also available at the Winnipeg facility.
