Is this a proof, or the proof-like, a restrike, or normal? And how do you tell? (those aren't scratches, they are raised).

Ok, those pictures are super-weird (I don't know if they're yours or a sellers). Anyways, those scratches are probably die polishing marks. Dripping with luster but I've never seen a Proof-Like designation on this series so I don't know if it'll qualify.

There were restrikes for this series, and they are worth significantly more than the regular coins however, they were only issued for the (b) Bombay Mint which yours is not.

It looks like a re strike from polished dies, probably to remove rust from dies that have spent a long time in storage.

It is not of proof quality in this case.

The Bombay Mint have produced a large number of re strikes including re strike proofs over many years, but I don't think they have been active doing this for the last couple of decades.

They're mine; how are they weird? I have another set I took with axial lighting but they don't show the luster. And yes, they are die polishing marks.

I guess it's just a 'normal' coin then.. thanks guys

The axial lighting is better for determining if those scratches are on the die, or on the coin. In this case though, I just happen to know that the Bombay Mint often used old dies that had rusted slightly, and needed some treatment.

They have done that with re strike Australian bronze coins.
