The coin is supposed to be Antoninius Pius, but from what I can tell from the pictures it doesn't look right. Can you provide better pictures?

I think it's a provincial. Alexandria mint, Egypt.
The obverse looks like the type from there of Antoninus Pius.
A good picture of the side would help, along with weight and size.
Here is a similar coin from Egypt, with the bust facing opposite to yours.

Its a strange one Roy, the coin looks a bit 'odd'. The obverse is one I have seen a few times. The reverse is a different one. Looks like it's trying to be Moneta seated, could be a seated Mnemosyne I suppose, but not sure. We will wait for pics.

Thank you for the extra pics Roy. Very often it is difficult to say if a coin is genuine or not from pictures alone. Though this looks like a provincial, Alexandria of Antoninus, the edge is wrong. Have a look at one of the coins from the same mint I have on the bay at the moment, the edge is the main thing.

I can't really tell from the edge still not clear enough for these old eyes. It still doesn't look right to me.

To me it looks like the edge was ground to hide casting lines. The coin just has this fake patina look to it
