It does appear to be an ancient Roman coin, but in it's condition it is impossible to ID it.

I'll move it over to the Ancient coin section, maybe someone with better eye sight than I can make an ID.

Way too far gone, all I can see is a bust right so I assume Roman but yea I'm with you on that one ech. I can't ID it either.

Making a few assumptions:

The uneven determination of the metal suggests a coin made from billon, potin or another composite metal. The right facing bust and what appears to be a standing figure might indicate an Alexandrian tetradrachm from from Roman Egypt. Sometime in the early 3rd century AD. Maybe Gordian or Philip?
