Other dimes have a rim that is "rounded down" at the very edge. This one looks "flared"/"rounds upward" and it ends at a pretty sharp angle, instead of "rounding down". The rim also bulges a little.

On the right is a normal coin. The light is being a little tricky here. There isn't any inward folding of the rim. The line near the edge is where the rim starts to "round upward".

The rim is also a little weak. The reeding is quite light and it doesn't reach the edge.

I really see no evidence of it being a weak strike, since everything is clear and sharp. Most of her crown's jewels and patterns in the necklace are still there. It even has more detail than my other Volunteer coins, and overall less scratches on the background.

Closest I can think of is it being a Dryer Coin, but it doesn't look beat up.

Opinions?

A weak strike error is usually most noticeable at the edge of a coin. In my opinion this coin is slightly weakly struck.

There are other options to explain the rim not striking-up properly, but I think they are less likely: an undersized planchet, thin planchet, or an annealing problem.

Even though all the things are clear and sharp?

It feels to be the right size so I don't think it's a problem with the planchet.
