1947ML New Member Canada 39 Posts	Posted 04/27/2014 4:06 pm Are they really worth such a high premium? I have seen these 3 coins on ebay for such a long time now, it's has me wondering about the price of missing chrome. http://stores.ebay.ca/coinmart62/_i...id=183146287 Why haven't they been snapped up. Find a complete set of missing chromes, mules and hr included.......how about partial chrome........some on that list there are less than 5 known. If you do not like or understand errors, so be it. If you collected 5-cent errors, which would include missing chrome plating on the planchets from 1944-45 and 1951-54, then you would be smart enough to know that finding a 1952, 1953 or 1954 5-cent missing chrome in mint state condition is a very tough coin to find. Those prices are probably negotiable, but expect to dig deep in the pockets to find those coins in similar grades elsewhere...
