The only thing that I would do is to remove that little green spot above the emperors nose. It looks like it might be the start of BD. Other than that I would leave the coin alone.

it may have been waxed, I can possibly see some whiteish wax buildup on it. if so, you could take the wax of with heat or acetone. BD is "bronze disease", a corrosive thing that happens to coin. the little green spot on the obverse may be BD. rub it with you fingernail. if it comes off as a powdery type substannce it is BD.
