This is my 1976 $2 bill. It is in pristine condition. Looks like it was printed yesterday. Saw the same bill at a Coin Show in Birmingham, AL and I think it was going for $200-$400.

Can anyone tell me the worth of an uncirculated '76 $2 bill?

This was the first year of the current design and it is the second oldest U.S. currency design. It has no tears, crease marks, or worn spots.

Unfortunately not a whole lot over face value, maybe 25¢, there are millions of them, and they still make up a lot of the $2 bills in banks.

I'm willing to bet the bill you saw at a coin show was an error note or had something else going for it.

If you visit enough banks, you will still find uncirculated 1976 bills.
