G'day, I don't recognize this one, but we may be able to make some progress.
I can read the legend on the obverse; I don't recognize the portrait.
I cant read the legend on the reverse; the date seems to be 1823 or 1825. Could you please clarify what is written ?
I note that the figure of seated Britannia seems to be a very simple one, so I suspect that this is a token.
What are the diameter and weight of the coin/token ?

Thank you, the date is 1825 it weights 0.345 OZ, 152GR, 6.3 DWT, 9.8 grams and is 29mm . And the legend on the reverse says " To FACILITATE TRADE"

It is Canadian, but I will have to dig out my Canadian book in the morn, it is an older one with all the good tokens in it.

Very cool, Thank you Both come to think of it it does look like one that was in a very very old charton catalogue back when the used to put the tokens in
