I can read the legend on the obverse; I don't recognize the portrait. I cant read the legend on the reverse; the date seems to be 1823 or 1825. Could you please clarify what is written ? I note that the figure of seated Britannia seems to be a very simple one, so I suspect that this is a token. What are the diameter and weight of the coin/token ? scoutjim99 Pillar of the Community United States 4589 Posts	Posted 07/27/2007 9:57 pm Thank you, the date is 1825 it weights 0.345 OZ, 152GR, 6.3 DWT, 9.8 grams and is 29mm . And the legend on the reverse says " To FACILITATE TRADE" Thanks for the help, I have never seen anything like it my self Report this Post to the Staff
