An Oath from this Day forward to take Steps to Never Buy anything from sellers that sell clad products. I swear I will research the sellers other items before I buy and if there is even the stink of clad items in their inventory I will not make the purchase. Everyday I see people paying real money for fake bullion and coins. It makes me sick. These people are thieves. This is a current ebay post: Lot of 10 APMEX .999 Fine Silver 1 Ounce Art BarLot of 10 APMEX .999 Fine Silver 1 Ounce Art Bar (this is up to $213.00 with 9 bidders and an hour and 45 minutes to go. Small print at the bottom "10X APMEX Silver Bars .999 Fine Clad. They come in original plastic case from manufacturer. Note these are clad silver bars"Coin Community has a lot of members, if we all take this step it may help to shut down this unethical practice. Let's boycott all sellers that attempt to pass off this garbage. To me this is worse than stealing. Liverpool

WOW a whole ounce of FINE silver for only EIGHT dollars!?!?!!?!? sure sounds great....
Unfortunately the people that are not on CCF are the ones saying that.
The other one that gets me is the 1 Gram BARS with outrageous premiums, you gotta hand it to the guys selling these, they can make a speck the size of a grain of rice look BIG!
Edit: incase anyone needs reminding one troy ounce is 31.1 grams, so a gram is in the area of 61 cents, with silver at $19/oz.

I've taken that a few times before but sure, I'll take ti again. I've had an encounter with a guy who sold replica RCM Coins that he bought from Alibaba for $1 each. Needless to say, I reported him and he's not longer a registered member.

Quote: WOW a whole ounce of FINE silver for only EIGHT dollars!?!?!!?!? sure sounds great.... it's all greed, if only people would just buy a few of the things they really want. historically, we in developed countries have more resources available to us then at any other point in time. does saving money buying cheap things, just to be tossed in the pile with other cheap things really make people happy? This came in my email last night!
There is no way I am going to buy one. Too easy for someone to get ripped off. Even though I like the coin very much I will not buy it on principle. Not that I think this dealer is a rip off but why would the makers mint one as:
British Virgin Islands Eiffel Tower shape coin 125th Anniversary 2014 Nickel Silver plated coin.
British Virgin Islands Eiffel Tower shape coin 125th Anniversary 2014 Silver coin Antique finish 1 oz

Kg5, I think that your 1st post was right, your thoughts: "Maybe I am being a bit hard on this releases as the weights are very different!" tThese could work good for someone at this time but someday in the near or far future someone will be hurt by these products. For instance, you keep them until someone inherits them and they don't know that they are fake, the bars get sold as the real thing and both the buyer and seller suffer. The buyer has purchased garbage and the sellers good name becomes mud. I could go on but I think you get my meaning.
These products at the end of the day are a lie that can and will hurt a lot of people. Again: I'm talking about fake/ counterfiet bullion bars and coins. Thanks to all for having an interest in this topic, forgive me if it seems like I am yelling some times.

Yes Liverpool. I am going to leave this coin alone. But if I was going to buy a coin it would be the silver one. Totally Agree with your comment. I agree , this crap should never be part of anyones collection, except for those who intend to write about them for a numinous book or website showing the difference between the junk and the real stuff to help others not get messed up by this garbage.
