How Many Days after an auction ends is it Considered Late payment? I sold 5 coins 4 days ago. Four buyers paid within 24 hours. The 5th buyer, I'm still waiting. I've invoiced 3 times. Tonight is 4 days. Am I being too impatient?

I'm guessing your requesting payment by Paypal if people paid within 24 hours. I would say that you should give them at least 1 week (7 days) just to be sure. If they don't respond or pay within the 7 days I'd say they're late. The only reason I say 7 days is computer problems, vacation they didn't mention, illness...

I generally send a second (reminder) invoice after 7 days, at 14 days I file a dispute, takes 7 days for that to clear so the process is 21 days.

Tonight is 7 days. I've already sent 4 reminders. So you think I should wait another 7 days before filing a dispute?

Is paypal the only method of payment acceptable? Then I would send a second email at the end of 7 days, and file an NPB at 10 days.

Otherwise I would give it a couple of days more, sometimes people mail stuff and it sits on trucks etc. I just recently expended all the funds in my paypal bank account(have to sell to replenish) so now I am sending snail mail payments.

After 7 days & 4 reminders, I finally filed a dispute (my first) with ebay for "unpaid buyer." Within 4 hours, I was paid by buyer via Paypal.
