If someone owned an 1856 Flying Eagle cent in MS condition, this one is likely MS63, then it would be:

A. Slabbed by PCGS or NGC

If I owned it before Feb of 1986 and I never sent it in to a TPG would it have grown it's own slab?

B. NOT in a Cardboard 2x2 [Edit: especially not a torn, dingy one]

In the case above it just might be in such a holder.

C. NOT on ebay for a few hundred dollars. Likely on Heritage for tens of thousands.

Now THAT one I will agree with.
Rest in Peace

Along with all mentioned above, a one day auction is a big red flag. This is an attempt to have the auction complete before it can be reported to the ebay watch community and nuked.

If this were a legit coin it would be a seven day auction to get the most exposure to potential bidders.

This was not on ebay. It was on a different auction site for longer than 7 days.
