Is there a good grading source for the JFK half dollar?
Are there any sites with photos of the varieties on the half dollar?
I have seen few photos of the half dollar anywhere, therefor my questions. I would appreciate any help in this area. I just got a box of them, and found a 1968D, in MS 63-65, and a 1967 that will run AU50. Not bad, considering! Nothing before 1971, or later than 2001.

HI gary, Yep, I'll check them out. Here is one for you:

It came out of a roll of half dollars, but I don't know when! I found it wnen checking MM's. Maybe I'll get lucky, and find the other "half" in my next box! Sorry about the photos. Not enough hands!
later: Nope! Of couirse I didn't expect to find it, either. I did find another 68D, 40%, and another, a 1974-D, that is weird looking. It looks like a silver coin, but has a light yellowish tinge to it, on the obv. The rev is normal. I suspect it had had "post mint" touch-ups.

I know I'm new and I dont want to run afoul of any rules. I have an article on one of my websites that shows pictures of what to look for on Kennedy varieties, in general. The article is called Doubled Dies on Kennedys it is at http://www.askaboutcoins.com

Thanks,
Bill
