I love gold coins, so this topic awesome! Here are some of mine (the reason for the different shades of gold is the auto-adjust feature on my camera): 1880 Gold Sovereign 1910 Gold Sovereign Half an ounce of solid gold. Pure bullion. 2013 Gold Sovereign

This is all the gold I own now. I had bought a tube of 1/10th Eagles in 1988 and a half tube of 1 oz, but I sold those off over the years. The 1988 is from that roll.

Quote: This is all the gold I own now Well, if we count the four BHOF gold proofs that I ordered from the mint at 01:18 on opening day, I own those too :)

Ahhhh... gold... Nice coins everyone! Here's a couple of my favorites, actually, the only ones I have photos already taken of at least... 1882 $5 (from my 100 years before my birthday set) it was raw in the photo but has since been slabbed, it came back undergraded IMHO at MS-61.. The color is off in the photos to show detail better... It's much "golder" in hand with booming luster (I'll put another pic below the first two to better show luster and color, although I suck at capturing this on gold, lol.) And this one is one of my favorite modern commemoritive golds, actually this year in general for all three (.50, $1, $5) I really like a lot. 2011 $5 Army proof (raw)

This is the only gold proof in my collection. It's a Half-Sovereign and one of the smallest coins I own. Just 19mm in diameter.
