Alright everyone, share some of your beautiful shiny gold pieces. Here are mine: Theodosius II (A.D. 408-450) AU Solidus, A.D. 441-450, Constantinople, 21.7mm, 4.43g, 180°, RIC 323. Obv: D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, cuirassed bust facing right, holding spear over shoulder & shield decorated with horseman. Rev: IMP XXXXII COS XVII P P. Constantinopolis seated left holding cross on globe & scepter, star in left field; CONOB in ex.  Five Dollar Half Eagle - Liberty Head 1899S  Elizabeth II Gold Sovereign, 1968, London, 22mm, 7.98g, 0°. Obv: ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D. Laureate bust right. Rev: St. George on horseback riding over fallen dragon; date in ex.  Bullion Gold Eagle - Ten Dollar â€" ¼ oz 1999

I only own 3 gold coins, this is one (of two that are identical). I've posted it before but these pictures could always use a new airing out...   Austria, 1 ducat, 1915 (restrike)

One of my newer gold ancients - this coin, minted in 322 BC, is known to be the finest depiction of Alexander the Great on a coin:

STUNNING COIN! I can't hardly believe it's real. That is the finest, nicest ancient coin I have ever seen.
