Once again the 7070 is missing some of the earlier Mint issues of the dime. But after thinking about it I decided that Dansco didn't include them intentionally. I suspect their aim was to include only issues that were within reach of the average collector financially. And as I always say the nice thing about type sets is that you can make you own definition of what to include. I think that's what Dansco did. Anyway I'll include some designs that preceded today's category. You'll note that I didn't include the Draped Bust/Small Eagle (1796-97) issue. I don't have it.

Very nice early issue of the Draped Bust dime! Very nice, very pricy, and way out of my price range!

Getting a head start on tomorrow's design. I've got to hit the road early. Going to the Baltimore Whitman Coin Show. Today's category is supposed to be Liberty Seated dimes with Stars (1838-1860). But there are a couple designs during that time (not counting the "with arrows" which is tomorrow's design).

Oops, the first one is labeled wrong. Should be: Liberty Seated dime with No Stars (1837)
