Here's another tip.check antique malls. Some people who put coins there never adjust the prices of their coins when silver goes up. So, if you do your math properly, you could come out ahead. One of my local dealers actually bought Morgan/Peace Dollars below spot value once.

Morgan dollars sorted into boxes with a set price. So you could get a great copy dirt cheap or a harder to get date in stuffpy condition in the more expensive box. I think the prices go like this: $8 - $12 - $18. He then has some in the case for $22 - $32. After that they're priced individually. This is a great way to get started since you can go through their cheapo box first and fill up on dates, then go to the next one to get the ones you're missing, etc., etc..
And don't snub your nose at common date/conditions that are already slabbed. Take the price minus the slabbing fee and you might be getting a good deal.
