I picked up this piece at a flea market for 2 bucks yesterday. Given the condition, I think I got a pretty good deal on it. Sorry for the light spots, I did the best I could just having a camera phone.

I'd call it AU-53.

A good deal at $2

You can see the split in the tip of the tail real well. A sign of a well-struck buffalo with minimal wear. I agree with AU-53. A good deal on a coin valued at about $6.75. Keep in mind, this is the most common date in the series, with 119 million minted. An excellent specimen for a type set, nonetheless.
