Just come across this one, Nicely centred and a good full coin all round, only had a few with this portrait that have been well centred. Quite nice.   You will never soar like an eagle if you hang around with turkeys.....

Nice coin, shame it's slabbed, I like to see them properly in hand. I have a few of his, and this one is quite a difficult one to get hold of yet it has actually been through ebay in a group of 20 and the lot went unsold at a starting price of £10.  You will never soar like an eagle if you hang around with turkeys.....

it seems to me that the best stuff often comes from the most inexperienced collector, who would do something like put 20 of the same type of a rare coin in one auction. Most coin sellers are interested in how much they will make, and not about the history and/or rarity of a coin. It is in this manner that they throw much of their potential profits out of the window. These are great buying opportunities that only present themselves to the dedicated numismatist

Good point. What is the reverse on that coin like silver?

Got a few of his, this is about the best with that particular reverse though. Think it's an R4, so quite a good one.

I listed this one on the bay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....151304730917 The picture is a bit poor, but has a lot of wash left on the front, I thought it would have gone straight away but obviously the game is far more complicated. If I stuck that on for auction it would hit 15 quid.... I might try breeding cows or sheep instead. You will never soar like an eagle if you hang around with turkeys.....
